Great Hotel, location, and WiFi. I stayed in a basic single room 332 for (1) night that was perfect for an overnight stay during the month of April 2025. A 10 minute walk from the Milano Central Station. The room is very thoughtfully organized. Single room is located on the ground, the only issue I had you can hear your neighbor from the room you are sharing the wall and some lobby activities. An overnight receptionist needs improve his hospitality manners. Overall pictures are accurate. Disclaimer: I am a sole traveler who had traveled over 100 countries. Let this review be your one reason NOT to choose Hotel Demo. I would give this zero stars if I could. On our very first day at the hotel, the receptionist insisted that we pay the tourist tax in cash only – we were not given any choice, even though they advertise credit card payments right outside the entrance. Already from that moment, it felt dishonest. Next, we were given a room where the toilet didn’t work – it simply wouldn’t flush. We informed the receptionist, and she asked, "What’s the problem?" Excuse me? A toilet has one job, and that’s to flush. We explained again, and she just nodded and told us we had to leave the key at reception, because if we lost it, we’d be charged 50 euros. We asked if they had extra keys, and she nodded yes – so we decided to keep the key and “risk” the 50 euro charge. After 7 hours out, we came back around 10 PM only to be met by the night receptionist, who told us the toilet had still not been fixed. We weren’t offered a new room, so we had to live in filth with a non-functioning toilet for over 20 hours – only the next day were we finally moved to a new room. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the day before we were set to leave, the entire frame of the toilet door fell off and hit my cousin! The whole frame came crashing down. We were in shock and decided to pack our things and get out of there – we didn’t have time or energy to deal with this nightmare anymore. There’s so much more we could mention, but to sum it up: that chubby receptionist was the worst part of it all. Completely disrespectful, lacking any sense of customer service, full of false promises, and didn’t care one bit when we told her the room – which was supposedly cleaned – had a broken toilet. She left us stranded in unacceptable conditions for over 20 hours. On top of everything, she insisted on tourist tax being paid only in cash, which made us seriously wonder if she was trying to launder money or what. This was hands down the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The second room we were given was right next to the hotel’s public guest toilet, so we had to deal with constant noise as well. Please stay far away from this place. Check the attached photo and let it speak for itself.

Our favourite place to stay when visiting Milan. The hotel is close to the Central Station with many dining options around. The rooms are clean and daily cleaning too. Fresh towels daily. Staff is very friendly, especially the night male receptionist. Hotel Demo is our choice for our Milan stay! See you soon !

It is an advantage that it is a hotel close to the center, the rooms look good but the building is old, the doors leading to the balcony have a poor quality so that the noise outside can be heard. I rented a room in the cold season, so the quality of the balcony doors left something to be desired again, entering the room cold. What I don't like about Italians is the fact that they don't have sheets to put the duvet in, it's disturbing for my sleep. The staff was kind. Acceptable for one night only.

This is a great hotel when your conference or main venue to attend to is near Milan's Central Station (and with few extra cash to spend). It is in the middle of the bustling city and just very near metros and food places. The good thing about this place is really the nearness of all transportation availble to the tourist spots (Metro, Subway, Tramline, etc) The room we got was 120 Euros per night included with breakfast. The room was so spacious 3 can sleep in it. Very comfortable with cooling and heating(although we don't know how to operate the heating). I can assure that the reception is open 24/7 since we arrive in Milan from Malpensa Airport at around 2:00 am. Reception Staff was great and very receptive. The hotel lobby's art is truly 'mixed' and I believe that they are LGBTQIA+ friendly here.
